About the Role

The Weekend Operations Manager will be responsible for leading our weekend engineering operations at Nutreco. This is a challenging role that requires strong leadership and technical skills to manage a team of engineers and coordinate shift activities.

The successful candidate will have a track record of delivering sustainable improvements across multiple areas including Safety, PPM, Waste Reduction, and Plant performance. They will also have experience in classified hazardous areas and ATEX equipment, CompEx Ex 05 - 06 or equivalent qualification is an advantage.

The role involves coordinating shift activities, ensuring all planned maintenance is up to date, and actively managing safety issues. The Weekend Operations Manager will also evaluate spare parts requirements and advise the Engineering Manager on future needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze CMMS data to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Manage and organize planned maintenance schedules.
  • Evaluate spare parts requirements and advise the Engineering Manager.

Competence Profile/Personal Requirements:

  • Qualified time served apprenticeship trained Multi-Skilled Engineer with an Electrical bias and strong mechanical skills.
  • Experience in classified hazardous areas and ATEX equipment, CompEx Ex 05 - 06 or equivalent qualification is an advantage.
  • Track record of delivering sustainable improvements across multiple areas including Safety, PPM, Waste Reduction, and Plant performance.

$80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
