Job Title: SEND Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to join our team at Qualiteach Ltd.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with students who require additional support due to emotional and behavioural challenges. As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for providing one-to-one support to students in a KS4 setting, helping them to access mainstream education and achieve their full potential.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience working in a SEN setting, with a strong understanding of anxieties and behavioural difficulties. You will be able to provide specialist knowledge and support to students, helping them to overcome their challenges and succeed in their education.

About the School

Our alternative provision is based in the Croydon area of South London and provides education to KS4 students who have been unable to maintain attendance to mainstream school. Our unique pathways and approaches help students to explore their interests and develop the skills they need to succeed in adulthood.

We are committed to providing a safe and supportive learning environment for all our students, and we are looking for a dedicated and experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to join our team.

Requirements
  • Prior experience working in a SEN setting
  • Strong understanding of anxieties and behavioural difficulties
  • Ability to provide specialist knowledge and support to students
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
