CNC Grinder Job Description

At H2O Recruitment Services, we are seeking a highly skilled CNC Grinder to join our team. The successful candidate will have extensive experience operating Mazatrol CNC Lathes, driven tool Lathes, and 5 axis Mazak mills in an AS9100 Rev D environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate 2 Axis Mazatrol CNC Lathe equipment with precision and accuracy.
  • Maintain knowledge of tool setting and tooling requirements to ensure efficient production.
  • Adjust machine offset coordinates to achieve high-quality results.
  • Work with high-tensile and ultra-high tensile materials with ease.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings and route cards to meet client expectations.
  • Collaborate with the team to implement company policies and procedures.
  • Conduct 1st-off inspections and complete paperwork accurately and timely.
  • Achieve tight tolerance and high-volume batch production goals.
  • Maintain a clean working area and adhere to cleanliness standards.
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of paperwork.
  • Have a minimum of 3 years' experience in an engineering environment.
Handheld Measuring Equipment Skills:
  • Micrometres, Thread Micrometers, Groove Micrometers (Metric & Imperial).
  • Bore clock.
  • Air gauges.
  • Height gauges.
  • Plug gauges and screw plug gauges.
  • Comparators.
