About the Role

University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled Consultant Clinical Oncologist to join our team. As a key member of our Cancer Business Unit, you will play a vital role in providing a comprehensive service for the people of Southern Derbyshire and East Staffordshire.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide a comprehensive service in Oncology with consultant colleagues, including new patient and follow-up clinics at Derby and Burton.
  • Participate in clinical and medical audit, and contribute to departmental and Trust matters concerning Clinical Governance.
  • Undertake teaching/training duties, and actively participate in postgraduate and undergraduate teaching programmes.
  • Actively participate in continuing medical education (CME).
