We are seeking a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Reed. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for managing the financial and commercial aspects of our build projects.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of experience in quantity surveying, particularly within the civil engineering or infrastructure sector. You will be responsible for preparing tenders, analysing and selecting appropriate subcontractors, negotiating and finalising subcontractor orders.

You will also be responsible for managing the financial and commercial aspects of subcontractors up to Final Account completion, overseeing and reporting on forecasts, targets, reconciliations, and site records. Additionally, you will maintain effective document control, variation reporting, and valuations.

The successful candidate will have strong skills in report writing, forecast planning, and engaging with clients and senior leaders. You will also have excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively within a team and influence senior management.
