Job Summary:
Hamilton Barnes is seeking a highly skilled Information Security Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our security practice, you will provide expert security guidance to our clients and support the delivery of secure services.
About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to work with a global leader in the security industry. As a Security Consultant, you will be responsible for:
- Partnering with business units to manage and implement security effectively.
- Providing Information Security consultancy on projects, solution design, and compliance.
- Conducting and interpreting risk assessments, recommending treatments, and supporting remediation.
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with business partners to ensure security is integrated into all initiatives.
- Facilitating the closure of Secure Project Lifecycle processes and supporting Risk Acknowledgement and Mitigation Plans (RAMPs).
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience in an Information Security Consultancy Role
- Strong experience in Agile frameworks (e.g., SAFe) and DevSecOps environments.
- Proficiency in risk and governance frameworks (e.g., ISO 27005, EBIOS).
- Excellent analytical, reporting, and communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
- Information Security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM) are required.
- Experience working in multinational companies and translating security risks into business terms.
What We Offer:
Hamilton Barnes offers a competitive salary package, including:
- £55,000 - £70,000 Basic Per Annum
- 15% Bonus
- 12% Pension (You contribute 3%)
Location:
This role is based in Ipswich and requires a hybrid working arrangement, with 3 days per week on-site.
