We are seeking a skilled MIG Welder to join our team at Workforce Staffing Ltd. As a MIG Welder, you will be responsible for performing MIG welding on various automotive parts, primarily with stainless and mild steel.

Responsibilities:

  • Read and work from technical drawings and welding specifications to meet production standards.
  • Fabricate, assemble, and weld metal parts, ensuring quality and precision in all tasks.
  • Conduct inspections on welded pieces to ensure compliance with product specifications.
  • Maintain a safe, organized workspace by following safety protocols and properly maintaining welding equipment.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in MIG welding, with experience in welding stainless and mild steel.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings accurately.
  • Experience in welding and fabrication within a manufacturing setting, ideally within automotive parts or metal fabrication.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.
  • Adherence to safety standards and a proactive approach to equipment maintenance.

Experience:

  • Previous experience: Minimum of 2 years in a MIG welding role, preferably within automotive manufacturing or metal fabrication.
  • Industry knowledge: Familiarity with automotive parts or components is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Technical skills: Proven track record of working with various welding equipment and techniques, including manual and automated MIG welding setups.
