Audit and Accounts Manager Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Audit and Accounts Manager to join our team at TPF Recruitment. Our client is a prestigious chartered accountancy practice based in Kent, specializing in supporting owner-managed businesses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage audits from planning to completion, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
  • Prepare accounts for a diverse range of clients, including tax computations and financial statements.
  • Lead a portfolio of clients, overseeing resource planning, WIP, and budget management.
  • Develop strong relationships with clients, providing expert support and guidance.
  • Deliver commercial awareness, identifying opportunities for fee development and growth.
  • Present work to partners, ensuring files are completed to a high standard.
  • Stay up-to-date with current legislation and compliance, ensuring audit and accounts matters are underpinned by the latest regulations.
  • Handle compliance queries from clients, providing clear and concise communications.
  • Provide quotes and estimate fees, ensuring transparency and accuracy.
  • Assist with pitching to new clients and attending networking opportunities, championing new business for the firm.
  • Mentor new trainees, supporting their learning and development.
Requirements
  • The ideal candidate will hold an ACA or ACCA qualification, with experience managing a portfolio of owner-managed businesses and SME clients.
  • They will also have experience planning and completing audits, as well as analytical reviews, accounts preparation, and work review.
  • The person will have experience supervising internal and on-site teams, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality services to clients.
  • They will be passionate about their work, a strong communicator, and have an attention to detail that supports their ability to work to multiple simultaneous deadlines.
