About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Design Engineer to join our Platform Engineering team at Adobe. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining the Spectrum-CSS project, an open-source, framework-agnostic implementation of Spectrum for the web.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop complex systems using CSS architecture and practices
  • Collaborate with designers to convert designs into code
  • Work closely with product teams to evolve the Spectrum ecosystem
  • Participate in the overall Spectrum ecosystem to ensure consistency and accessibility

Requirements

  • Deep experience in CSS architecture and practices
  • Solid knowledge of the ecosystem, especially practices for npm package development, versioning, and publishing
  • Experience working on fast-paced, multi-person open source projects
  • Pragmatic, collaborative, and open-minded outlook
