As we continue to expand, we're seeking a multi-skilled Field Service Technician to support our clients.

Role Overview:

As a Field Service Technician at RedteQ, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of complex electrical, mechanical, and PC-based systems. You will travel nationally at short notice to support our clients, with occasional pre-planned international travel. You will be part of a 1-in-4 on-call rota, ensuring our clients receive timely support. We are looking for someone who has a genuine passion for repairing systems, learning new technologies, and gaining a deep understanding of our industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of equipment.
  • Diagnose faults across electrical, mechanical, and PC systems.
  • Provide on-site and remote support to clients.
  • Travel nationally at short notice to attend service calls.
  • Undertake pre-planned international trips for installations or repairs.
  • Work as part of a 1-in-4 week on-call rotation.
  • Maintain accurate service records and reports.
  • Represent RedteQ professionally, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

Key Requirements:

  • Multi-skilled in electrical, mechanical, and PC systems.
  • Experience with diagnostic tools and test equipment.
  • Ability to work independently and make quick decisions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on customer service.
  • Willingness to travel nationally at short notice and internationally for pre-planned work.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Eligible to work in the UK.
