Job Description

The role of the Automotive Fabricator at Wrightbus requires a high level of skill and attention to detail. As a Coachbuilder, you will be responsible for manufacturing parts for assembly on the production line, using a variety of hand tools and basic cutting machinery. This involves drilling, cutting, riveting, bolting, and screwing parts while maintaining high quality workmanship and overall efficiency.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Fabrication of complex parts and assemblies to support the manufacturing process
  • Reading and working from complex part and assembly drawings and schematics
  • Moving between several distinct operations while maintaining high quality workmanship and overall efficiency
  • Fitting and assembly of metal, wood, and laminate components to vehicles during the assembly process

Requirements:

  • Time Served in a relevant discipline or 4 years of chassis experience/Relevant experience
  • Relevant experience using a variety of hand, power, and air tools
  • Ability to read engineering drawings
  • Good interpersonal skills

Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum based on location and experience.
