About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Operations Manager to join our team at our Erith site in Kent. As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of warehouse operatives and ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics and supply chain processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate a team of warehouse operatives to achieve high levels of productivity and efficiency
- Develop and implement strategies to improve operational performance and reduce costs
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination
- Manage and maintain accurate records and reports to track performance and identify areas for improvement
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies
Requirements
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced logistics or supply chain environment
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and implement solutions
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders
- High levels of PC/Microsoft package literacy and experience with computerized warehouse management systems
