The Role:

The Senior Proposal Writer will support all divisions in winning new work through the pre-qualification and tender process, writing responses to support our tender and commercial proposals. Key support will be provided for the Group Bid Manager and Bid Administrator. The successful candidate will be responsible for writing/editing responses, understanding business strategies to incorporate them into responses, meeting timescales for delivery of work, maintaining internal content, communicating with colleagues throughout the business to gain information, checking drafts for clarity, grammar, spelling, punctuation, sentence structure and formatting, and confirming that the response answers the question asked. The role also involves producing high-quality documents and ensuring completed bids/proposals meet the bid specification. Excellent time management/prioritisation skills and forensic attention to detail and meticulous proof-reading skills are essential for this role.

Requirements:

The client is looking for a Senior Proposal Writer with experience working as a bid writer currently. Knowledge/exposure from the Construction industry (and related) is desirable. High English literacy competence and an academic background in a relative field or English/writing discipline are also desirable. Key skills or similar job titles include Bid Writer, Tender Administrator, Bid, Sales Administrator.
