About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Rogers McHugh Recruitment. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in managing the financial aspects of multiple residential developments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare, monitor, and manage project budgets and costs
  • Work closely with site managers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure cost efficiency
  • Conduct regular valuations, cost reports, and forecasting
  • Manage subcontractor procurement, agreements, and payments
  • Handle cost variations and resolve any financial issues
  • Support the project team in delivering homes on time and within budget
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the residential housebuilding sector
  • Proven track record of delivering accurate costings and budgets on housing developments
  • Excellent understanding of construction contracts, procurement, and cost management processes
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in relevant Quantity Surveying software and MS Office
  • Degree or professional qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related field
