Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated individual to lead our care team in a residential care home for children and young people. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for providing quality care services and strategic planning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of carers in delivering high-quality care services to children and young people.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies for the well-being and development of our residents.
  • Work closely with our management team to ensure seamless service delivery.
Requirements
  • At least 2-3 years’ experience in a Residential Children’s home setting.
  • NVQ Level 3 in Caring for Children and Young People/Children’s Residential Workforce.
  • Related knowledge of Ofsted legislation and safeguarding procedures.
  • Experience with budgets and rotas.
  • Full driving license essential.
  • Flexibility to work shifts and sleep-ins.

Salary

Estimated salary: £27,986 - £29,203 per annum (£13.90 per hour), plus £62.64 per sleep-in (approximately 2-4 sleep-ins per month, an additional £1,500-£3,000 per annum).
