Post Office Branch Manager

We are seeking an exceptional individual to take on the role of Post Office Operations Manager at our Red Hill Store, located within a WHSmith store. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for motivating and inspiring your team of counter assistants to provide top-notch customer service, meet business goals, and ensure the security of both cash and postal items.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of leadership and management, with experience in motivating and developing teams to achieve exceptional results. You will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and customers alike.
Key Responsibilities:
• Motivate and inspire a team of counter assistants to provide exceptional customer service
• Meet business goals and targets
• Ensure the security of both cash and postal items
About the Role
As a Post Office Operations Manager, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the post office, including supervising staff, managing inventory, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. You will also be responsible for providing training and support to new staff members, as well as conducting performance reviews and making recommendations for promotions or disciplinary action.
You will work closely with other departments, including sales and marketing, to develop and implement strategies to drive sales and improve customer satisfaction. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records and reporting on performance metrics.
We estimate the salary for this role to be around £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
