Position: Upholsterer

Compensation:
£16.50 per hour

Work Schedule:
8am - 4pm, Monday to Friday

Overview:
We are looking for a talented Upholsterer to contribute to the crafting and restoration of furniture upholstery. The successful candidate will possess a strong background in working with diverse fabrics and materials to create high-quality upholstered products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Construct furniture upholstery based on detailed specifications
  • Repair and replace damaged or worn upholstery
  • Employ hand tools and power tools to cut, shape, and fit various materials
  • Handle heavy lifting tasks when relocating furniture items
  • Apply mechanical expertise to diagnose and resolve upholstery-related issues
  • Keep a tidy and organized workspace within the warehouse

Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated experience as an Upholsterer or in a comparable position
  • Skilled in working with a variety of fabrics
  • Capability to lift heavy items and perform physical duties
  • Proficient in the effective use of hand tools and power tools
