Job Title: Engineering Manager - Offshore Wind

Kent PLC is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager - Offshore Wind to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for leading the technical delivery of offshore wind projects, working closely with our team of engineers and technical experts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the technical delivery of offshore wind projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective completion.
  • Develop and implement innovative solutions for repair and upgrades of offshore wind assets.
  • Collaborate with our team of engineers and technical experts to develop and implement new technologies and methodologies.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to colleagues at all levels, ensuring the delivery of high-quality engineering solutions.
  • Present work to clients through reports and presentations, ensuring effective communication and stakeholder management.
Requirements:
  • Chartered Engineer with a recognized engineering institution.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.
  • Proven experience in leading multi-disciplinary offshore structural design projects.
  • Experience of managing engineering design teams for offshore works.
  • Direct experience of managing engineering projects to time, cost, and quality objectives.
  • Experience across the whole of the front-end engineering process.
  • Ability to integrate new and emerging technology, tools, and practices within project delivery to drive efficiencies and added value for the business.
