Hospital Optometrist Position for Experienced Professionals

Kings College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is a leading healthcare provider seeking an experienced optometrist to join its specialist orthoptist/optometry team.
Salary:
The estimated salary for this position is £51,883 - £58,544 per annum, including high cost allowance, Pro Rata.
Job Description:
As a highly motivated and enthusiastic optometrist, you will provide high-quality and comprehensive optometry care, ensuring the effective and efficient running of the orthoptic/optometry and ophthalmology service. Your responsibilities will include:
- Participating in highly specialist clinics
- Coordinating clinics to ensure patients receive appropriate checks
- Working autonomously without supervision
- Evaluating patients pre-operatively and discussing surgical intervention with ophthalmologists
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you must possess:
- An Optometry Degree
- Registration with the General Optical Council
