Job Title: Children's Team Manager
Description:
We are seeking an experienced Team Manager to lead our Cared for Childrens team, delivering and improving services for vulnerable children, young people, and their families. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading, managing, and coaching your team to achieve excellent outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, manage, and coach your team to deliver high-quality services
- Report to the Service Manager and work closely with other team managers
- Recruit and supervise staff
- Hold individual and group supervision to ensure staff performance meets high standards
- Ensure appropriate case allocation across the team
- Promote a child-centered approach across the team
- Work in partnership with multi-agencies to achieve the best possible outcomes for children and families
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will need significant experience working in children and family services. Ideally, you will have:
- Experience working within a variety of teams within children's services, ideally in cared-for teams
- Proven track record of statutory social work experience
- Sound and robust legal framework knowledge
- SWE registration
- Full UK driving license
- Right to work in the UK
