Job Description:

We are seeking experienced Class 1 drivers to join our team at The Best Connection Group Limited. As a Class 1 driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to our clients across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive a Class 1 vehicle to transport goods to our clients
  • Ensure all goods are loaded and unloaded safely and efficiently
  • Conduct regular vehicle checks to ensure safety and compliance
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries and collections

Benefits:

  • Competitive Hourly Rate: £18.77 per hour (Monday to Friday days), £19.91 per hour (Monday to Friday nights), £24.90 per hour (Saturdays), and £27.31 per hour (Sundays)
  • Overtime Rate: 1.25 times the hourly rate after 42.5 weekly hours worked
  • Bank Holiday Bonus: £231 paid on top of the hourly rate
  • 28 Days Paid Annual Leave: pro-rata for PAYE (inclusive of statutory holiday)
  • Online Payslips: available for all employees
  • Weekly Pay: regular payment of wages
