Job Title: Field Service Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team at Aermec, a leading company in the field of HVAC solutions. As a Field Service Engineer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining critical environments across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and service activities on large-scale chiller units and heat pumps to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Diagnose and repair faults in chiller and air conditioning systems, particularly in chiller units and compressor technologies, including Turbocor.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, keeping them informed of work progress and any additional requirements.
  • Be part of a 24-hour call-out rota, responding promptly to service requests, including emergency breakdowns, and providing critical support to clients in industries such as healthcare and data centres.
  • Complete detailed reports for each service visit, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company procedures.
Requirements:
  • Must hold a valid F-Gas qualification and CSCS card.
  • At least five years' experience working on large-scale chillers and heat pumps, with knowledge of compressor technologies such as Turbocor.
  • Familiarity with BMS systems is advantageous.
  • Availability to work a 24-hour call-out rota.
