**Procast Building Contractors Ltd.** is seeking an experienced and dynamic **Site Manager** to oversee a major external facade renovation project in a large-scale construction environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all on-site operations for a large-scale external facade renovation project, ensuring adherence to timeline, budget, and quality standards.
- Coordinate and supervise multiple subcontractor teams, fostering a collaborative and efficient working environment.
- Implement and maintain strict health and safety protocols, prioritizing the well-being of all personnel on site.
- Liaise with clients, local authorities, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and project progress.
- Manage site logistics, including material deliveries and equipment usage, to optimize project efficiency.
- Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks to ensure project quality and compliance.
- Prepare and submit detailed progress reports to senior management, providing accurate and timely updates.
Requirements:
- Proven experience (5+ years) as a Site Manager on large construction projects, with a strong track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Specific expertise in managing external facade renovations or similar large-scale building envelope projects, with in-depth knowledge of construction methodologies, building regulations, and health and safety legislation.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct multiple teams.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills, with the capacity to adapt to changing project requirements.
- Proficiency in project management software and MS Office suite, with the ability to analyze and interpret data.
- Relevant qualifications such as HNC/HND in Construction Management or equivalent, with SMSTS certification and first aid at work qualification.
Desirable:
- Experience working on historic or listed buildings, with knowledge of sustainable construction practices and materials.
