We are seeking a highly skilled Transportation Revenue Growth Manager to join our team at Go South West.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to drive commercial growth and customer satisfaction in the transportation sector. As a key member of our Commercial and Customer team, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing strategies to increase revenue and enhance the customer experience.

About Go South West:

Go South West is part of The Go Ahead Group, operating bus services across Plymouth, Cornwall, Devon, and other areas. With a fleet of over 300 buses and carrying 20 million passengers annually, we are committed to delivering excellent service and fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace.

Your Role:

You will be responsible for managing day-to-day projects, including bus network changes, fare adjustments, contract renewals, and tendering opportunities. This will involve working closely with multiple teams to deliver shared goals and ensuring seamless collaboration with external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Oversee project delivery, ensuring timely completion and alignment with company objectives.
  • Contract and Revenue Management: Manage B2B and Local Authority contracts, engaging with customers on contract management, performance, and renewals.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with local authorities, business clients (e.g., NHS, universities, colleges), and suppliers to ensure effective collaboration and stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Reporting and Data Analysis: Prepare and present monthly reports using Microsoft Power BI and other industry systems, identifying trends and discussing key findings with the team.
  • Collaboration and Team Support: Work with the Commercial and Customer team to implement bidding strategies, support sustainable revenue growth, and enhance the customer experience through technological and retail improvements.

Skills and Experience:

  • Attention to Detail: Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and data analysis.
  • Commercial Acumen: Strong understanding of financial management and revenue growth strategies.
  • Stakeholder Management: Proven experience in building and maintaining relationships with external stakeholders.
  • Data Analysis: Proficiency in using reporting software and analyzing data trends to provide actionable insights.

Salary: £40,000 - £60,000 per annum depending on experience.
