Senior Ecologist

Join a dynamic team of ecologists at Hup Consulting, where you'll have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects across the UK. As a Senior Ecologist, you'll be responsible for conducting Preliminary Ecological Appraisals, Biodiversity Impact Assessments, and protected species surveys. You'll also have the chance to develop your skills in Ecological Impact Assessment and detailed assessments.

We're looking for someone with a genuine enthusiasm for ecology and the environment, as well as experience in line managing or providing guidance to junior members of an ecology team. You'll need to have a survey licence for one or more protected species, as well as experience in habitat surveys and protected species surveys.

As a member of our team, you'll have the opportunity to work independently and as part of a team, with good communication skills and a full or chartered membership of CIEEM. You'll also need to have a full driving licence and use of a car.
