Job Title: Paralegal - Childcare Law Specialist

Job Type: Full-time Contract

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Paralegal to join our team at Novax Recruitment Ltd. as a Childcare Law Specialist. This is a contract role working full-time hours.

The Job Responsibilities:

  • Complete reviews and redactions of social care files in response to Subject Access Requests (SARs)
  • Draft and prepare legal documents, conduct legal research, compile court bundles, and assist with letter writing
  • Assist with caseloads related to childcare law
  • Schedule meetings, organize diaries, respond to inquiries over phone and email

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience in a legal office required
  • Experience handling SARs and Freedom of Information (FOI) requests required
  • Experience in childcare law or similar required
  • Knowledge of the Children Act 1989 and other relevant legislation desired
  • Strong IT and communication skills required
