Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Specialist to join our team at Nuffield Health Derby. As a Diagnostic Imaging Professional, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services for a varied caseload across multiple specialties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Hold a postgraduate certificate in mammography and be able to undertake QA/calibration tests and escalate any findings.
  • Work closely with Consultant Radiologists and Consultant Breast Surgeons to deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging services.
  • Supervise and develop junior colleagues to ensure a service of the highest quality is delivered with sensitivity and compassion.
  • Deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging for a varied caseload across multiple specialties.

About Nuffield Health Derby

Nuffield Health Derby is a purpose-built hospital that offers a comprehensive range of high-quality surgical services. We have 38 en-suite beds and three operating theatres along with a recently refurbished outpatient department, a minor ops suite, and a dedicated oncology unit. We have a range of diagnostics, including Radiology and Pathology services on-site. Patients attend on a mix of Private and NHS pathways. Our highly trained staff create a caring environment to encourage speedy recovery and wellbeing. Set in beautiful grounds, the Derby Hospital is about 3 miles from the city centre, within easy reach of all major roads and bus routes.
