About the Role

Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited is delighted to be partnered with a housing association based in Paisley. They are seeking a finance manager to join their team. This permanent role is varied and busy, and the organisation is looking for a qualified accountant to join the team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing the organisation's finances, ensuring they meet regulatory requirements
  • Delivering financial services effectively, developing and adhering to financial policies
  • Monitoring performance, leading, managing, and training the finance team
  • Producing management accountants and ensuring year-end accounts are completed to a high standard
  • Working with the SLT to prepare the annual budget and supervising the workload of the finance team

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to be a fully qualified or qualified by experience accountant. You will also possess strong communication skills, the ability to collaborate with others in a team, and be highly organised with excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritise effectively.
