Job Title: Manual Miller/Turner

Technique Recruitment Solutions is working alongside an international machinery manufacturer based near Lowestoft to find a skilled Manual Machinist. The ideal candidate will have a time-served apprenticeship or equivalent within a relevant industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Select appropriate machine and tooling to manufacture components as specified on drawings.
  2. Select appropriate materials for each job as described in the drawing.
  3. Run machine to produce required components.
  4. Check and verify accuracy of components once manufactured.
  5. Record daily completion of records including time-sheets and inspection status documentation.
  6. Report any manufacturing errors to team leader for corrective action.
  7. Adhere to all quality and health & safety standards.
  8. Work with other departments to set priorities for component manufacturing or sub-assembly build.
  9. Build sub-assemblies to the required specification.
  10. Verify accuracy of assemblies on completion.

  5. Willingness to learn and develop.
  6. Ability to read drawings and part lists.
