We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our team at Larwood Academy Trust. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils with social, emotional, and mental health related difficulties.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality support to pupils in a dynamic and inclusive learning environment.
- Assist teachers with lesson planning, preparation, and delivery.
- Develop and implement strategies to promote positive behavior and social skills in pupils.
- Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to ensure seamless support for pupils.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) for pupils.
- GCSE English and Maths Grade C or above or equivalent qualification.
- Experience of working with children in a mainstream or Special School environment.
- Good behavior management skills, either whole class or with individual pupils.
- Ability to remain positive with pupils who may exhibit challenging and demanding behavior.
