Fudge Animation Studios Limited invites applications from experienced Directors looking to lead the creation of an animated series pilot.

The chosen candidate will oversee both artistic and technical aspects of the project, working closely with a dedicated team to bring the pilot to life. This is an excellent opportunity to showcase your skills and experience in animation direction and contribute to the success of our studio.

We estimate the salary for this role to be around £85,000-£95,000 per annum, depending on experience, based on industry standards for a Director in the UK. Key responsibilities include interpreting the script, developing a cohesive visual style, and overseeing production workflows.

Our animated series pilot aims to blend innovative storytelling with cutting-edge animation techniques. We seek a Director who can helm this pioneering project with a blend of creative vision, technical prowess, and a deep passion for storytelling.

Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience directing animated film or television, with a portfolio demonstrating relevant work.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of animation production, including various animation techniques.
  • Strong storytelling abilities with a knack for visual and emotional narrative conveyance.
  • Leadership and communication skills, capable of guiding creative teams.
  • Innovative thinker with a strong passion for animation and storytelling.
  • Proficient with animation software, including Blender.
  • Ability to manage tight deadlines and adapt to project shifts.
  • Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Film, Animation, or a related field.
