About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and commercially aware Buying Assistant to join our dynamic team at our Huddersfield headquarters. As a Buying Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting our Buyers with various administrative tasks, gaining valuable commercial insight and working with market-leading brands.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review top product and category pages daily to optimise performance
  • Daily analysis of the Trading suite to understand how we're performing
  • Support with general run rate ordering and pricing activity
  • Supporting the team with competitor analysis to ensure we're always in the know
  • Learn to utilise Google Analytics to analyse customer behaviour and optimise search, category, and product pages
  • Ensure an exceptional online shopping experience, keeping the website updated with new product launches and trends through regular website maintenance
  • Attend supplier and internal meetings - take meeting minutes and follow-up notes when needed
  • General commercial administration to support your Buyer
What We're Looking For

We're looking for a candidate with great communication and organisation skills, a commercial mindset, and a positive attitude. Previous experience as a Buyer's Assistant is a bonus, but not essential. A good working knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook, is also required.
