Job Overview
">We are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our construction team in the United Kingdom. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing cost estimation, procurement, and contract negotiation.
About the Role
">- Prepare and manage detailed cost estimates and budgets for construction projects.
- Conduct cost analysis and financial reporting throughout project lifecycles.
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients.
- Monitor and manage project cash flows and budgets.
- Identify and assess commercial risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with relevant construction regulations and legislation.
- Liaise with clients, architects, and contractors to ensure project targets are met.
Requirements
">- Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
- Extensive experience (5+ years) in a similar role within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts, regulations, and best practices.
- Proficiency in cost management software and financial reporting tools.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Membership in a relevant professional body (e.g., RICS) is preferred.
- Full UK driving license.
Salary and Benefits
