Job Title: Maintenance Planner and Scheduler

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Planner and Scheduler to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and planning maintenance activities across our heavy industry sites. You will work closely with our maintenance teams and production staff to ensure that maintenance is carried out efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Screen and prioritize incoming work orders to ensure timely completion
  • Conduct site walkabouts to identify job requirements and safety risks
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and maximize productivity
  • Collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure that all necessary resources and spares are available
  • Monitor and report on maintenance performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in maintenance planning and scheduling, preferably in a heavy industry environment
  • Strong technical and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on safety and quality
  • Proficiency in CMMS systems, with experience in data analysis and reporting
