Join Our Team as an Application Support Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Application Support Engineer to join our team at Ocado Logistics. As a key member of our Service Management team, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Oracle HCM and UKG Workforce Management systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide timely and effective support for Oracle HCM and UKG Workforce Management systems, ensuring high-quality service delivery and meeting key performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with the 1st level helpdesk to perform configuration and code changes, ensuring seamless system operation.
  • Continuously improve the support framework through automation, self-service capabilities, and process optimization.
  • Work closely with vendors to gain knowledge and improve support processes or design.
  • Assist in the technical design process for new customer requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Support the change management process to maintain the HCM systems, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience supporting Oracle HCM implementations, including incidents, problem/root cause, and changes.
  • Strong background in IT infrastructure and cloud-based solutions, with a focus on technical expertise.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality support and building strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, initiative, effective communication, negotiating ability, influencing, and team working.
  • Ability to operate independently and effectively, making progress on tasks while navigating process and project ambiguity.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong interpersonal relationships with peers and customers in the organisation.
