Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Assistant to join our team at New Appointment Group. As a Financial Assistant, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our Finance Department, with a focus on purchase ledger operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including purchase ledger postings and supplier statement reconciliations.
  • Prepare and process payments, including generation of remittance advice.
  • Assist in the day-to-day operations of the Finance Department, including ad-hoc duties.
  • Provide administrative support to the Finance Team, including data entry and document preparation.

Requirements:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Word and Excel.
  • Ability to manage own workload and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Good communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
  • Team player with a positive attitude.
  • Experience with Exchequer accounting software is desirable.
  • Hold or working towards an accounting qualification.
