Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Assistant to join our team at New Appointment Group. As a Financial Assistant, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our Finance Department, with a focus on purchase ledger operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including purchase ledger postings and supplier statement reconciliations.
- Prepare and process payments, including generation of remittance advice.
- Assist in the day-to-day operations of the Finance Department, including ad-hoc duties.
- Provide administrative support to the Finance Team, including data entry and document preparation.
Requirements:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Word and Excel.
- Ability to manage own workload and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Good communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
- Team player with a positive attitude.
- Experience with Exchequer accounting software is desirable.
- Hold or working towards an accounting qualification.
What We Offer:
- A competitive hourly rate of £11.44-£12.90 per hour, depending on experience.
