About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Paraplanner to join our team of Financial Planners. As a Paraplanner, you will play a crucial role in preparing suitability reports, providing technical research services, and supporting the delivery of high-quality advice to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare comprehensive suitability reports across a wide range of advice types, financial products, and investment solutions.
  • Conduct thorough technical research to ensure accurate and up-to-date advice.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, ensuring Know Your Client information is complete and compliant.
  • Collaborate with Financial Planners to ensure the correct client outcome is achieved.
  • Support client meetings, including the presentation of cashflow models and other duties as required.
  • Manage your workload to meet personal targets and communicate effectively with Financial Planners to manage expected delivery dates.
  • Ensure compliance with FCA guidelines and maintain core systems to support the advice process.
  • Identify and report any risks, breaches, or errors, ensuring risks are logged and mitigating actions are taken.

Requirements

  • Demonstrable experience in paraplanning with a proven solid technical knowledge.
  • Proven track record of delivering written financial advice.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Good organisation and prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Literacy, numerical, and analytical skills are essential.
