We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN teaching assistant to join our team at Prospero Teaching. As a SEN teaching assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students aged 5-16 years old with moderate and complex learning difficulties, autism, speech & language difficulties, and social, emotional & mental health difficulties.

The ideal candidate will have experience of working closely with children or supporting adults with additional needs. However, we also consider individuals with no experience but a desire to start a career as a SEN teaching assistant.

Your responsibilities will include providing tailored support, creating a safe environment, and assisting the teacher. If you have a passion for helping others and are committed to making a positive impact, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized support to students with SEMH and SEN
  • Create a safe and engaging learning environment
  • Assist the teacher in planning and delivering lessons

Requirements:

  • Degree or equivalent qualification in a related field (desired but not essential)
  • Experience of working with children or adults with SEN (desired but not essential)

  • A competitive daily rate of £100-£105 per day (DOE)
