About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Soil Microbial Ecologist to join our team at Energy4Life Centers. As a key member of our Plant-Soil Interactions research group, you will contribute to our mission to advance our understanding of the complex relationships between plants, soils, and the environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and conduct experiments to investigate the ecology of the C and N cycles in agricultural systems
  • Develop and apply next-generation sequencing techniques to characterise the soil microbiome
  • Collaborate with colleagues to identify factors responsible for structuring microbial communities and their impact on plant productivity and greenhouse gas emissions
