The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring the maintenance and compliance of Mechanical plant and associated systems to the highest industry standards.
  • Minimizing reactive maintenance through proactive plant maintenance and optimization.
  • Contributing to the improvement of plant equipment to meet company-regulated standards.
  • Verifying that all mechanical equipment used on site meets required industry standards.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience as a Mechanical Engineer with exposure to modern technology machinery, or pump machinery.
  • A time-served qualification in Mechanical Engineering.
  • General plant and machine maintenance expertise.

Desirable skills include:

  • Ability to develop and review maintenance procedures in line with manufacturer guidelines.
  • Experience working with computerized maintenance systems.
  • Experience working on a COMAH Site is highly desirable.
