Social Worker

Polaris Children's Services is a leading provider of children's services, delivering innovative and outcomes-based solutions to support vulnerable children, young people, and families.
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Social Worker to join our team, working in a community role that requires travel to Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, and Derby. The office base is in Mansfield, with an expectation of hybrid working.
The successful candidate will hold a Social Work qualification recognised by Social Work England and have proven experience of working with children, young people, and their families, including foster parents, with complex and multiple needs. They will also have a comprehensive working knowledge of relevant legislation and publications informing current thinking on good practice and safeguarding.
Key responsibilities include holding case responsibility, overseeing and supporting the delivery of intervention services, responding to referrals, implementing and reviewing service plans, and referring children and families to specialist services.
