Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Tax Senior to join our dynamic team at Kenton Black. As a Tax Senior, you will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of clients, delivering both compliance and advisory services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review tax returns for sole traders, partnerships, limited companies, and individuals
  • Stay current with changes in tax legislation and ensure compliance with all relevant tax laws
  • Provide tax planning and advisory services to clients, identifying opportunities for tax savings and efficiency
  • Advise clients on the tax implications of business transactions and financial decisions
  • Assist with business restructuring and provide guidance on tax-efficient structuring
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as their primary point of contact for tax-related matters
  • Mentor and support junior staff members, providing training and development opportunities
  • Contribute to the firm's business development efforts, including attending networking events and generating new client leads

Requirements:

  • ACA, ACCA, or CTA qualified (or equivalent) with a strong background in tax
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a mixed tax role within an accountancy practice
  • Comprehensive knowledge of UK tax legislation and compliance requirements
  • Prove experience in providing tax advisory services to owner-managed businesses
  • Proficient in using tax software and Microsoft applications
