Transport Planner

Our client, a leading bulk Logistics Service Provider, is seeking a skilled Transport Planner to join their team. As a key member of the operations team, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing efficient logistics solutions for their customers and suppliers.
Key Responsibilities:- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal customers to ensure excellent operational performance.
- Plan and coordinate transportation operations to achieve optimum margin potential.
- Liaise closely with the Procurement team to ensure the best and most cost-effective haulage resource for service delivery.
- Identify and resolve operational issues, such as contaminations, wet-loads, and spillages, in a timely and effective manner.
- Minimum of two years' experience in road haulage planning (bulk) is essential.
- Ability to work well under pressure and react quickly to customer requirements.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
