Sales Director

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Manager to join our team at a leading housebuilder. As Sales Manager, you will play a key role in driving sales growth and delivering exceptional results.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in sales management, with experience in the housebuilding industry. They will be responsible for managing a team of sales executives, developing and implementing sales strategies, and ensuring the successful delivery of sales targets.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Team Management: Manage a team of experienced sales executives to ensure targets are met and continuity in delivery and reporting.
- Reporting: Collate, check and develop all reports for monthly and weekly submission.
- Task Delegation: Delegate tasks to ensure smooth running of the Sales Department.
- Interdepartmental Liaison: Liaise with other departments to ensure Sales are delivering correct reports and information on time.
- Recruitment and Training: Recruit and hire, and train and develop new personnel to ensure successful induction and ongoing performance.
- Induction and Probation: Sign off on the 12 week induction prior to probationary end for all new recruits.
- Policy Development: Develop policies, procedures and objectives for marketing and selling the company's products and services to ensure continuity across all regions.
- Strategy Implementation: Develop, orchestrate and implement strategies to ensure the successful and efficient functionality of the sales department.
- Budget and Staffing: Plan, forecast and control budgets and staffing requirements.
- Employee Development: Oversee further training of employees, setting expectations, organisational development, performance management, succession planning, motivating, coaching, and problem resolution.
- Skills Structure: Building and improving an effective skills structure through training.
- Marketing Strategies: Establish marketing strategies with the Marketing department to meet organisational objectives.
