About the Role:

Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee a new project in the construction industry. The project is a new build apartment scheme, traditional build creating approximately 45 new homes. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall management of the site, ensuring that the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the site team, including subcontractors and suppliers
  • Develop and implement the project schedule and budget
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies
  • Coordinate and manage the construction process, including groundworks, external envelope, internal fitout, and handover
  • Monitor and control costs, including materials, labor, and equipment
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Site Manager or similar role in the construction industry
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and techniques
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • First Aid, CSCS, and SMSTS certifications
