About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the procurement of feedstocks and managing by-products from anaerobic digestion processes, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Procure high-quality feedstocks through sourcing, negotiation, and contract management.
  • Manage third-party relationships to ensure efficient operations and regulatory compliance.
  • Coordinate the intake, storage, quality control, and feeding regime of various feedstocks.
  • Develop and manage budgets related to feedstock intake and digestate handling, aiming to meet financial targets and optimize operational costs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to maintain effective communication channels.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Degree-level education or equivalent experience in waste management, agriculture, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of relevant environmental laws and regulations pertaining to waste and by-product management.
  • Excellent negotiation skills and business acumen.
  • Experience in overseeing operational processes and logistics.
  • Proficiency in budgeting and financial analysis to manage costs and optimize operations.

A competitive salary of up to £50,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus 25 days holiday and a day off for your birthday.
