Nurse in Adult Critical Care

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Band 5 nurse to join our team at King's College Hospital's Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a nurse with experience in adult critical care to transition into a neonatal setting. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality nursing care to patients and support to relatives.
Main Responsibilities- Work collaboratively with the team to provide continuing care to patients from admission to discharge.
- Provide safe and effective nursing care to patients and support to relatives.
- Registered Nurse (RGN) or RN Child/Adult Registered Nurse with active NMC registration.
- Good understanding of the NMC Code of Professional Conduct.
- Able to solve and escalate problems and issues.
- Experience of working in the relevant area, e.g., Adult critical care; Emergency department; cardiac intensive care.
- Experience in Neonatal or Paediatric nursing.
- Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing situations.
- Interest in developing knowledge of the clinical specialty and own practice.
- Able to communicate effectively (written and verbal).
- Specialist neonatal qualification (formally ENB 405).
