Manufacturing Operations Director

At Global Inkjet Systems Ltd (GIS), we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manufacturing Leader to oversee our manufacturing operations. As the Head of Manufacturing, you will be responsible for driving LEAN principles, ensuring cost efficiency, and maintaining the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement the GIS manufacturing strategy to exceed customer expectations for product quality, cost, and delivery.
- Manage production schedules and budgets to ensure products meet quality, cost, and timeline targets.
- Mentor and develop a team of 8 direct reports to ensure high performance.
- Build and maintain excellent relationships with key stakeholders.
- Lead and implement LEAN/ Six Sigma deployments to drive process improvements.
- Proven experience in leading a manufacturing function with a track record in strategic manufacturing leadership.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Results-oriented with ability to plan and deliver against project deadlines.
- Technical mindset with experience leading Electronics and Mechanical Assembly teams.
- Relevant engineering or manufacturing discipline degree or equivalent NVQ Level 7 qualification.
