About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Garage Equipment Service Engineer to join our team at Arnold Clark Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for traveling across our UK branch network to provide efficient and effective maintenance and repair services for our garage equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out routine servicing and repairs on hydraulic and pneumatic garage equipment, including vehicle lifts, compressors, and MOT equipment.
  • Fault find and repair breakdowns, as well as perform planned preventative maintenance of ramps and garage equipment.
  • Complete necessary paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Ensure that the van is stocked with the necessary parts and tools.
  • Work closely with a team of other engineers and service controllers.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a similar field-based garage equipment maintenance role.
  • High levels of organisation and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • The ability to be self-motivated and work unsupervised.
  • The ability to work well within a team.
