About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Surveyor to join our team at BYLOR Joint Venture. As a Surveyor, you will play a vital role in supporting the engineering team through all phases of the construction project.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct land / topographic and engineering surveys, utilising advanced equipment and technology
  • Implement quality assurance processes and supply project deliverables to clients
  • Develop and maintain accurate site plans, incorporating precise instrumentation and setting out structural features
  • Analyse complex data sets using various software tools, including AutoCAD, Civils3D, and Leica Survey Software
  • Communicate effectively with clients, presenting data and writing detailed reports

Requirements:

  • Degree in Geomatics /Engineering Surveying or related field
  • Experience in reinforced concrete projects, preferably large infrastructure projects
  • Specialist land surveying skills, including experience with EDM/Total Station
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail

What We Offer:

A competitive salary of £60,000-£80,000 per annum, private medical insurance, company pension schemes, and annual holiday allowance. Some grades may also include a company car allowance. All positions are based at Hinkley Point C in Somerset, offering easy access to the M5 and proximity to Bristol and Exeter.
